Clothes Are Supposed to Flatter, Not Fatten
"Living in Tallahassee, FL, without a local Ashley Stewart for years, it’s been a case of "out of sight, out of mind. " Even as an avid online shopper, I hadn't ordered from the brand in over 13 years. However, with my plus-size daughter graduating high school this year, I was searching for specific looks for her senior photo shoot. I finally settled on your white tennis skirt (which I had customized) and ordered myself a pair of white linen pants for church. Because prices are so high, I opted to buy her matching crop top elsewhere. I paid extra for express shipping, and to your credit, the package arrived on schedule—which is the only reason this review gets two stars instead of one. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. My pants were an off-white rather than a true white, and both items fit horribly. Instead of complementing our shapes, the cuts made both my daughter and me look significantly larger than we are. Her senior picture look was completely ruined. This experience was a jarring reminder of why I stopped shopping here years ago. Your items are ill-fitting, overpriced, and do your customers zero justice. Clothes are meant to flatter, not fatten."
